What coaching is:
Coaching is a partnership where we work together to accomplish a specific and measurable goal. Coaching is client focused and client directed.
A coach doesn’t give advice, instead we will lead you through a process of discovering where you are now, where you want to be, and what roadblocks might be getting in the way. My job is to be supportive and hold space while you strategize on what action steps you want to take.
What coaching isn’t:
Coaching is not therapy. Therapy can be closely related to coaching but has different processes, intentions and education. Therapy works with your past to process healing, whereas coaching looks towards the future goals and foward based actions and strategies.
Coaching is not advice. As a coach I will never tell you what to do, I will hold up a mirror to help you determine the best course of action for you.
